You can also find Aimee leading and serving her church, family, and local non-profit boards. She is the founder of Youmoms.org where she serves as the Founder and Executive Director of You Mom (soon to be Hope for Her), which is a Motherhood Mentoring Program that was created to encourage pregnant women and teens as they walk out an unexpected pregnancy. You can also find Aimee serving as the chairman of the board of Palm Beach Women’s clinic (the local crisis pregnancy center). Currently, she serves as the Director of She Connects.
Aimee also serves alongside her husband, Pastor Daryl Nelson (and who she calls "Mr. Incredible") at Calvary Chapel of the Palm Beaches. Together, they share the love of Christ with their four amazing children, grandchildren, and church family. Aimee loves a good cup of coffee, a nice pair of shoes, and sitting around the table with her family.
I believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. That He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life; that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. Later, He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His millennial kingdom. I believe that since in His death, by His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin, redeeming us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, men are saved and justified on the simple and single ground of the shed blood. I believe that such salvation with its forgiveness of sins, its impartation of a new nature, and its hope of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership or man’s effort and is of pure grace.
I believe that a true believer is eternally secure, that he cannot lose his salvation, but that sin may interrupt the joy of his fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of his heavenly Father. I believe that all who receive Christ become joint heirs with Him, and at death, their spirits depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness. We believe that at rapture, their bodies will be raised to the likeness of the body of His glory and dwell forever in divine presence.
I believe that it should be the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge of and obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit, who indwells and seals all believers at the moment of salvation. Believers must seek the fullness of the Spirit since it is His influence that will bring about victorious Christian living on earth. I believe that every true Christian is to be a dynamic part of a local church since this is God’s primary context for spiritual development and community impact.
